Initial planning has begun for a Skate Plaza in the City of Utica NY. This is only an idea as of now. We are pushing the idea to the community at this point, in hopes to achieve our goal.
What is a Skate Plaza?
A Skate Plaza is a professionally designed skate boarding park that replicates urban terrain (business plazas, concourses, sidewalks, etc.). Skate plazas, by virtue of the fact that they are much more than a few simple ramps and features, attract enthusiasts by offering exciting high-quality alternatives to public facilities. They provide a legal and safe recreation alternative and help to relocate skate boarding away from the general population.
